Ezgi’s Yoga journey started in 2010. She completed her first teacher training with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2017 and has been teaching since then. In 2020 she travelled to India for further training and completed an 200 hrs Ashtanga Yoga Programme.

She joined several events and workshops, also completed over 600 hrs of training in Yoga;
*36 hrs Ashtanga Yoga Immersion: Adjustment Training with Joey Miles, 2022-23
*30 hrs, Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series Intensive Training, Stillpoint Yoga London (Scott Johnson), 2022
*30 hrs, Bridging the Gap in Philosophy and Psychology of Yoga, 2021
*200 hrs Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga at Tattvaa Yoga School, India, 2020
*28 hrs Teachers Immersion Programme with Yoga Reloaded (Hannah Stewart and Emma Epton), UK, 2019
*300 hrs BWY Certification Program, UK, 2017
*60 hrs BWY Foundation Course 1, UK, 2015

Although she practised different Yoga styles, she has established a daily practice of Ashtanga Yoga since 2016 and travels to practice with her teacher Joey Miles in-person a few times a year. Pranayama and Meditation are also indispensable in her regular practice.

Ezgi teaches Ashtanga Yoga Mysore and Led classes as well as Hatha Yoga classes and various workshops.

Her Ashtanga Yoga approach has evolved over the years and mainly focuses on making this method accessible to everybody. She finds the meditative character of the set sequence safe, calming and grounding so this is her motivation to introduce this style to as many people as possible and help them experience these qualities in their Yoga journeys too.

In a Mysore Ashtanga class, Ezgi will support you when learning the sequence and introduce some modifications according to your needs. You are always welcome to question things or experiment with different techniques to find out what works for you. Hands-on adjustments are one of her main teaching tools, she has completed several trainings on this subject. However, if prefer receiving verbal instructions only, that’s also perfectly fine.
You will enjoy her classes if you wish to deepen your understanding of Yoga and establish self-practice in a safe environment with a supportive group.

See you on the mat.

Ashtanga Yoga can help everyone to calm the mind and strengthen the physical body as long as it is practised in a safe and caring environment.

My main aim is to provide that class environment and introduce this method to as many people as possible.

' Yoga is a mirror to look at ourselves from within.'
